Syndicated Export Support
Supporting businesses in accessing international markets and expanding their export opportunities.
Syndicated export is a collaborative trade structure in which multiple small-scale exporters pool financial resources or supply goods to execute large-volume export transactions that may be difficult for an individual exporter to undertake alone. This model enables emerging exporters to participate in high-value international trade opportunities without the limitations of individual capital constraints.
In practice, a group of 2 to 10 or more exporters may jointly finance and supply products sufficient to fill a 40-foot export container. For many new exporters with limited start-up capital, achieving this scale independently can be challenging. Through syndication, members reduce financial risk, increase operational efficiency, and gain access to larger international markets.
The Institute of International Business Professionals Nigeria (IIBPN) plays a central role in coordinating and facilitating these syndicated export arrangements. The Institute manages member participation, ensures compliance with export standards, and partners with verified overseas buyers to guarantee procurement of goods upon arrival at the destination port.
